WHAT IS THE MONTHLY PHOTO SHOOT?
Well , it is a challenge . I begin this challenge inJune 2016as a way to capture the growth of my daughter . And also to grow in my picture taking skills as well . I be after to continue this challenge for many years to arrive as a manner to accumulate memories with my girls .
Now , I ’m not just photograph them in a normal day . But I ’m really do them up cute like I would if I was take them to a professional lensman . I always signify to fiddle with airplane propeller and use natural lighting to capture their in force moments just as a professional lensman would do .
I get to habituate my originative wit and really recall of some estimation to make the right photo work . It ’s fun , I ’m making memories and I ’m saving money by not having to engage a professional photographer . This photo shoot is something I can contrive and seem forward to each and every month . It will showcase our favourite computer storage and event of that calendar month .

WHY A MONTHLY PHOTO SHOOT?
Seems like it would be stressful to throw in a photo shoot in an already busybodied rural life . But , when Maci was a newborn , I was commence to believe it to be necessary . I was struggle with myself over the fact that I had not schedule a photo shoot with a lensman after thebirth of my newborn .
So , I tooknewborn moving picture of her . A month afterwards , my mammy came to bring down and encourage me to take some movie of both girls myself . During theJune 2016 rural photo shoot , I used Mylee’sAllis Chalmerspeddle tractor , rocking chairand trees in our own yard for an awesome first photo shoot .
That ’s when the approximation pop into my question . I have the cute props and thecamera . I have the gorgeous rural scenery . Why not ?
So , the monthly photograph shoot challenge was born . I had so much playfulness with ourfirst exposure shoot in Junethat I decided to keep it up each month .
Because my girls are growing up and change so much , I felt this would be a genius theme to keep running of their emergence . And so far , the results of each have been timeless gem for me and our extended family and friends who desire to follow along as the girls change from month to month .
October 2016 Rural Photo Shoot
October was so busy . One word . harvest time . Also , we were meddlesome locomote cows home from their summer pastures .
And in the farm house , I ’m interfering decluttering . Eliminating and organizing the past seven years of our living along with two piffling girls . It seems like one of my girls always needs my attention ( which is GREAT ) . But , it ’s hard to stay focal point on one chore through the interruptions . My mummy came over a brace of days to help . And we discharge the October 2016 rural photo shoot .
We take some clock time ( a whole Clarence Day ! ) away from the homestead to pip the pictures . I require an October / Fall - ish theme . So , we looked for colors . Au , Bolshevik , etc . Our driving postulate us first to Benedictine Bottoms , a wildlife reserve along the Missouri River . We also go up onto the Benedictine College campus to rule some pretty colouring material there .

Props & Locations
Benedictine College , Benedictine Bottoms , and Grandma ’s Front Porch were the three main locating for the October 2016 Rural Photo Shoot .
At the Bottoms and College , the girls outwear pumpkin attire . Maci styled a crocheted pumpkin hat complete with stem .
And at Grandma ’s , the lady friend trick or treated in unsubdivided Halloween costume . Mylee was her favorite Disney character : Minnie Mouse . And Maci was a dim-witted pumpkin with the same pumpkin vine lid .
So , here ’s the result of the October 2016 rural photo shoot plus more about what my missy are up to .
Mylee
My big lady friend is three year old . She ’s in a confused state of judgement between a baby and a adult girl . While she still is n’t potty trained , we have our good days and not so expert days . She still wants to be the babe sometimes .
But a major winnings for this calendar month : She finally started sleep through the night in her own seam . This is huge . She was refusing her own seam every Nox and bedtime was such a fight . It was ugly .
And I have been making her go to bed in her own bed as a plea for her to practice her potty chair . If she stay dry , she can kip with us . But if she has an accident , she has to go to seam in her own seam . And like everything else I have seek for the past six month , incentive : 1 , potty : 0 . But at least she is sleep in her own bed .
Mylee is a super impudent girl . Her vocabulary and story notification science are to die for ! And she could trade a professional salesperson under the tabular array with her bargaining and debate skills . I know she ’s going to be determined to be very successful someday .
We startedback into gymnasticsclasses this month . I restart her in Parent - tot classes but she is too strong and advanced for this class . So , she ’s now in the preschool class ( without mommy ) and doing so great ! I ca n’t wait to see how much she learns .
But the best affair about Mylee is that she is an awe-inspiring liberal baby . I ’m very thankful for her help with Maci , who is change so much in such a unretentive amount of time .
Maci
This little female child is seven months onetime now ! Can you conceive it ? She hit some major milestone this month that I ’m excited to portion out with you in the October 2016 rural photo shoot .
Things are starting to get a lot interesting around these parts ! I told Mylee the other day that she is going to have to start keeping her tiny choke able-bodied toys picked up . Otherwise , her niggling baby would before long determine and eat them .
And with winter coming , Maci becoming mobile is going to be mad . It ’s almost that time of class when we start to havebaby goatsandcelebrate holidays .
Busy Month of Farm Work
We got a lot of farm work fill out this month . Including harvest , cows home from summer pastures , and spring calves worked .
Harvest was both good and bad . edible corn yield were very wretched and the prices were frightful . But soy yields were the best ever so it really evened out . It really prove that mystify pelting at just the right time during the rise time of year will make or break the takings . It all came out to be ok thanks to the soybeans .
But farm body of work is not all I nail this month .
And A Brand New Book
I published my first child ’s book ! The ledger “ Sage Beagle & The Shadowy Figure ” is now useable on Amazon and Kindle .
All I postulate is that you leave a review of the record on Amazon . reasonably please ? ?
publication children ’s books has been my dream for a retentive time . And eventually , it came to be . The process was painful but I now have a system to publish more . Not only will I be publishing more Sage Beagle books , but I also have architectural plan for a serial teach kids how to grow things and make their own food .
And , there ’s also a plan for a farm fart book . Because fart books are democratic within a certain age chemical group . I propose to make it educational and incredibly humorous at the same time .
Update on PPD/PPA
In theSeptember photo shoot post , I declare my problem with post partum anxiety and low . And my program for play through it on my own . So , how ’s it break ?
Not big ! I have found thatstaying positiveand relaxed is the # 1 objective to stay sane . I have made lean and am accept one day at a time . This means , I ’m post new posts on the web log less . But I ’m putting more time into make books and getting my Rural Woman root on podcast ready for launch in January .
It also intend creating a goodwork / life remainder . While I ’m go from home and taking concern of the female child , I ’m also working a couple of part time problem . I get to drive 40 minute of arc one way to one of my job . But this has allowed me some good thinking clip while listening to some keen podcasts and audiobooks .
The audio leger I ’m listening to this calendar month is “ call back & Grow Rich ” by Napoleon Hill . It ’s a classic and you ’d better think I ’m following it word for Bible . I have my end goal set and I ’m following all of the suggested activities to reach that goal . And it ’s break down to be an amazing journey .
My audio frequency Scripture next calendar month is hold out to be “ Secrets of a Millionaire Mind ” by T. Harv Eker . I ’ll be you’re able to guess what my ending goal is now , ca n’t you ?
On my journey to make my incredible animation , I have memorize to have intercourse liveliness again . Because I have to love myself and my own life story before I can love my family . Loving Life

I have amastermind group , just like all past successful people . My life mastermind grouping helps me every day . They keep an eye on the kids for me while I work . They help oneself me with tasks . And they keep me from go insane .
And somehow I manage to get authoritative thing done . BecauseI now believe I can . By prioritizing and utilizing my resources , I have found a way to do the thing I want to do . And my life is a dream .
