Oh what a fun time it is living tiny on the route !
We are now into our 63rd day of the trip and have entered Oregon , the 10th state of 50 we will visit before it is all say and done in another 302 mean solar day .
It ’s hard to consider that it was just 10 months ago we decided to take thisTrip of A Lifetime . And frankly , it seems surreal we are now in the thick of it all .
Along the way , we have met some incredible people . And see some amazing places .
So far we have camp down on an alpaca farm , a horse farm and in the world ’s largest runway K . We have hike up and biked nearly 400 miles , and enjoyed food we never knew existed .
But that does n’t intend all of that fun has n’t come with a few adjustments . And , quite a few comical import along the way . Actually , a LOT of comical minute !
And with each and every one , they but make the misstep all that more gratifying .
After all , life story really is what you make of it . Every single twenty-four hours . No matter where you are , where you live , or what you are doing .
And if you’re able to find the humor and joy in the not - so - gross sentence , then nothing can ever spoil the adventure .
We recollect for our monthly OWG trip update today we would share some of the lighter moment of the journey so far .
A Few Of The Funnier Moments Of Living Tiny On The Road
For starters , we have developed an totally new language when we are in the camper . For instance , when in the privy , and before every opening the room access , one must ask and hollo the news CLEAR before launch the door .
The reasonableness ? I once sent Mary flying into the bed area with an unnanounced possibility . And she once hit me squarely in the head with the door with one of her own unannounced door scuttle .
Yes , we are even now . And we habituate the word of honor “ CLEAR ? ” to stay that way !
On that same motif , “ Fan , Fan , Fan ” yelled emphatically means whoever is sitting at the desk area require to use their deal to fan the skunk demodulator . right away !
The detector is an obvious must - have . But when one cooks a footling too hot , or one lets a piece of pledge get too dark – a quick fan of your hands can keep it from go off and decimating our ears .

However,“SHOES!”said in the middle of the night means something entirely different . It means that Jim forgot to put his horseshoe up , and Mary tripped over them on the way of life to the bathroom .
alas , or maybe fortunately for me , we are not even on that one yet . Mary is much better at putting her shoes aside !
The camper , with it ’s bright wrap . has twice been mix up for a food truck . One sentence , we were even asked what we serve , and what fourth dimension we opened !
Having our picture on the side of the camping bus has also caused quite a few bit .
Our open - route scene and motion picture often get at sea for the rental campers seen traveling about the nation .
Its always a hoot when folks enquire us how much our camper was to take . Or , even better , does it annoy us to have other masses ’s faces on the side of our camper . That was actually said to us once while bear right beside our picture ! 🙂
We even had one such couplet tell us during a gas fill - up , with all earnestness mind you , that we kind somewhat resemble the people on the camper .
When I told him it really was , he told me I was n’t tall enough to be the hombre in the photograph !
All play aside , the teardrop camper , and the journey have been nothing short of phenomenal . And one we would n’t trade for anything in the world .
