First , sincere thanks to everyone for your kind words for the past few days . Newtown is suffer ill , but the amount of love and support we ’re receive is dumfounding . We appreciate every word , thinking , and prayer .
OK , back to garden , which do their sightly share to help us bring around from the poke life throws at us . Today ’s photos are from Judy Barton in Oklahoma ( delay that state off the tilt ! ! ) .
Judy says,“My garden is in northwestern Oklahoma . It is now asleep for the winter so I am post summer picture to enjoy . I get huge challenge for gardening . Summers are airy , blistering hot , and wry . Our soil is clay and has a jumpy shelf close to solid ground degree so growing tree is a challenge . Therefore 95 % of my garden is full sun .

“ When we go here 20 year ago , there were 2 climbing rose wine and the grand was Bermuda weed with weeds that were three animal foot tall . My husband and I have replace most of the gage with beds for flowering shrubs , perennials , and ornamental grasses . We had a drip system installed for the heyday and shrubs . It is a Brobdingnagian fourth dimension rescuer and my plants really sleep together it . My plan is to transition most of my garden to native and drouth tolerant plants . ”
Gorgeous , Judy . The trumpet vine with the orange chair is staring ! ! Thanks for sharing .
