Hey GPODers !
We ask , and Howard delivered ! A couple weeks back we received photo of gorgeous window box designs from Howard Nemeroff ( jibe those out here : New creation From a Window Box Expert ) , and today he ’s back with some fabulous spring containers .
Howard is the the proprietor ofPlant Parenting , a Chicago - based interior plant and container aim service . Since 1986 he has been crafting award - win container arrangement for residential and commercial building , add together curb appeal and pops of colorful flowers and foliation through the seasons .

A unparalleled and iconic part of Howard ’s designs is his use of branches as emphasis or fantastic , swirling mannequin . As a true woody - plant life lover , I chance this use of under - appreciated garden material swoon - worthy , and they certainly make Howard ’s spring displays stand out from the quietus .
Below you ’ll find some of Howard ’s favorite creations from this springtime , many featuring those signature tune branches . To get even more inspiration from Howard , survey him on Instagram:@plant_parenting
Elegance and whimsy all in one ! The whirl snatch willow ( Salixdiscolor , Zones 8–10 ) gives the courtly urn a playful vibe , while the monochromatic colour scheme keep the great pot subdued and naturalistic .

relation , but not twin . It is quite thought-provoking to make containers that organise but are n’t exact replicas , and Howard makes it look leisurely . The shining green leafage and theme song swirling limb were complimented perfectly with upbeat pops of chicken flowers . I ca n’t imagine how breathtaking this was when the Narcissus pseudonarcissus finally bloomed .
Yet again raise that green is anything but boring . This bright chartreuse color is like temperateness on those early springiness Clarence Day , and creates a stunning center while for any sort of occasion or gather . Howard uses some faux plants in some of his earliest natural spring designs , but can you tell which plants from the above are in reality faux ?
While I was just singing the extolment of Howard ’s complimentary intention above , there is a classic beauty in two matching containers flanking an entryway that never draw former .

Case in dot again — two infant blue green goddess lark about the tried - and - truthful container recipe : thrillers , fillers , and spillers .
White tulips and those signature pussy willow branches are elegant thrillers , it looks like delicatepansiesthat are sate out the pot with some more flowers , andEnglish ivyis ( Hedera spiral and cvs . , zona 5–11 ) spill out from all sides .
in conclusion , two jumbo pipe bowl of spring colour . Many gardeners might feel like they necessitate to habituate a multitude of different plants to make telling container displays , but do n’t blank out the power a a mass planting . These citrus mix pansies are mounded up to search like giant scoops of flowers . YUM !

Thanks again for sharing your incredible design , Howard ! Who is feeling cheer to create something entirely raw in their container garden ? 🙋 ♀ ️
