In this interview we dive into:

About Debbie

Debbie is a Kansas State University grad with a Degree in Ag Journalism . She is in White City , KS , just down the road from me and conjure up cattle with her hubby . She also talk at various events about beef , is interviewed on podcasts and keeps up with her blog , Kids , Cows , and Grass . When she graduated she own a small paper until she had a family . With five nestling in four and a one-half years spirit was all about being a mom , her and her husband determine to expand the cows herd enabling her to stay at home with their kids .

Why She Started a Blog

She was craving a creative outlet but it was n’t until one cousin-german ’s statement sparkle the course of instruction to her blog , and ultimately the rest of her life . Debbie and her husband were the only ace between him and his sister that stayed in the ranching lifestyle but family derive down to inspect and she was feeding all the small fry hamburger for tiffin when one of the moms came up to her and say her kids could n’t each have their own patty because it was too much meat in one day . When Debbie asked what she meant the mother distinguish her it was because of all the antibiotic drug in the meat . Debbie replied that it was home grown bitch so there was nothing to worry about . However , after she made that statement she realized that it was wrong , all boeuf is antibiotic free . She realized that this ma was only one propagation withdraw from the spread and it ’s lifestyle and did n’t know the result to that interrogative sentence . As this realization murder her she knew she could help oneself educate the public about where their meatactuallycomes from . That was almost 10 years ago and it ’s now her mission .

Her Mission

Since that day in her kitchen she has remove various avenues to cultivate and befriend moms who are worried about the meat they buy at the fund and what their children are consuming . From stand up next to the heart and soul aisle at grocery stores , podcast interviews , and speaking upshot she link up with moms and educate them , understanding that she can not expect them to know better if they are n’t being taught well .

She feel that despite the attacks the heart and soul industry has faced in the last decennary that we ’re entering a sentence where the world is asking questions about where their essence comes from . This postulate to be seen as a incontrovertible affair . If the populace is postulate questions then that means that they ’re unforced to listen to answers . It ’s our line to ensure those result are based in fact and not fear .

Letting them see how life of a rancher actually is rather than the clickbait that ’s in their fount every solar day is just one way Debbie connect with her audience . Through her blog and her social media she shares case of beef , best formula for certain beef cuts , life Bos taurus ranching , and her children . Each of these theme connect with other mommy and have allowed her to be run across as someone they can entrust , which is what we really need nowadays ! Most significantly , Debbie have it off social media because she can show her interview that a real farmer is really ‘ raising your beef cattle ’ and that ‘ fertilise your kids squawk ’ is safe .

Challenges Debbie Has Faced

For Debbie make time to pursue her originative wall plug with her blog and speaking engagements was difficult , as well as see the right hearing and topics . When she first started she ’ll admit to talking in agricultural slang and that is often lost on a non - agriculture scope interview . So she had to figure out who her audience was , what was significant to them , and how to link with them on a level that would make the most common sense . After some trial and error she realized her interview was moms wanting to check more about the meat at their grocery memory . So she shares about her nipper , beef recipe for in use mammy , and even run to local elemental school day to take Good Book about the farm .

Best Advice and Tools

Debbie ’s best advice is to be yourself and see your audience and speak to that interview . If it does n’t make common sense for your job to talk to moms then that ’s okay , just because it works for her does n’t mean that ’s the only audience that is pass away to form . If you ’re using Instagram for your business be certain andconnectwith your audience when you station your pic . You ca n’t carry an figure and then walk away while your audience is engaging . In ordering for Instagram to see your chronicle as one worthy to promote you need to be sure you ’re connecting authentically .
