I enjoyed originate a duet of chilli plants last year and am move to township thisyear .
It has been more than a month since I sow most of my chillies and thing are finally start to happen , with three varieties well on the elbow room to germinating and another just poking through . I have n’t pricked any out yet , I ’ll do that at the weekend if I do n’t get a chance beforehand .

NuMex Pinata – From premierseedsdirect.co.uk
NuMex pinataThis variety was developed at the State University in New Mexico , one of many such development it seems . It is a variation on Jalapeno , with similar size of it , savour and puncher . The difference is that these colour up whereas jalapeno is a duller gullible . The pinata go from green to sensationalistic , orange and finally red . They can be glean at any coloring .
I arrogate it is the range of colours that gave it the name , after the custom in Mexico and other Latin American land of hitting a brightly coloured pinata at birthday celebrations , commonly fill with sweets and other goodies , also brightly coloured . Heat wise , these kvetch in at 50,000 SHUs . Medium - red-hot , not blow - your - socks - off - hot .

I have realise picture of other chilli raiser ’ well developed seedlings , all potted up and growing on nicely . The best of those have been grown indoors in a temperature control environment under grow - lights . I ’ll confess to a certain amount of enviousness , I could convince myself I need some grow lighting for the heated terrace . My chillies are in the greenhouse , and whilst they have bottom heat at 22 ° c , the breeze temperature is nerveless and downright cold overnight some day , as well as still being dark for over 12 hour a day . Excuses excuses . Supposedly the game to grow a good crop of chillies in the UK is a long rise season . Mine will get up . I trust !
